Fellowship of Íæż½ã½ãtrainee selection
The Fellowship of Íæż½ã½ãannual trainee selection process aims to recruit the best trainees, to produce specialists who best meet community needs in women’s health across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
Introduction
In 2011 the College introduced a national selection process in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand in place of the previous state-based selection.
Each stage of the Fellowship training selection process is highly competitive. Throughout the selection process, the College bases its assessment of each prospective trainee on consistent selection criteria.
While the selection process operates separately in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, the key elements are similar in both countries in terms of selection criteria, scoring, reference checks, interviews and selection outcomes.
